Nevada Licensed Process Servers & Legal Couriers
For over 40 years, Reno/Carson Messenger Service has served the legal community across Nevada. Our clients include attorneys, property managers, banks, and government agencies.
PROCESS SERVER
We are looking for reliable, accountable individuals who are comfortable working independently and handling legal documents professionally.
This is not a desk job.
Process servers spend most of their day:
• Driving throughout the city
• Locating people
• Making multiple attempts at different times of day
• Walking up stairs and navigating apartment complexes
• Working evenings and sometimes weekends
If you enjoy independent work and solving problems, this can be a very rewarding job.
Under Nevada Revised Statute NRS 648.014, a process server is an individual who serves legal documents within the State of Nevada.
What You Will Do
• Deliver legal documents
• Attempt service at different times of the day
• Document attempts using our mobile app
• Take photos and record notes
• Maintain professionalism with the public
LEGAL COURIER
A legal courier is someone who can handle 60 to 100 stops, getting in and out of their car, walking up several flights of stairs on a daily basis.
POSITION DETAILS
Positions can vary from full time to on-call . Work hours Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm with a mandatory 1 hour lunch. Distance deliveries the driver is compensated $.30 a mile round trip. Legal couriers are paid hourly with a $15.50 gas allowance of every 8 hours worked.
REQUIREMENTS
PILB Card through the Private Investigator’s Board
Nevada Driver's license and proof of Insurance.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must drive your own vehicle.
18 years of age.
Own a smart phone.
